RALEIGH, N.C. —More than 30 minority-owned businesses are coming together for a special event aimed at sharing common practices, growing their business and spreading the word. The Evolved Black Business Expo takes place from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Marbles Imaxx Movie Theater in downtown Raleigh.
From guest speakers, to presentations, a fashion show and music, creator Lamont Pettiway told Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair the event is aimed at helping small businesses learn and grow. But they also hope members of the community from all walks of life attend, to learn and take advantage of these small businesses.
